BEAUTIFUL DAY ON THE PACIFIC COAST

So today I'm thinking I am finishing up some planter boxes on the porch because it is a beautiful morning.
For me personally I love getting my fingers in the dirt! And of course I love the flowers, the vines, the foliage, all of it.
If you are not a gardener, just know its great therapy for whatever :-)!

Back with more later.........Have a great day!

  1. I've already been in the garden this morning, planted my new cilantro plants and fed all the rest of them. Love getting my fingers dirty!

  2. Yes, so do I girl! It brings back great memories from being a kid. Did you guys ever make "mud pies" with all different kinds of things you could find? In Arkansas out in the country we had some tree that had long thingys hanging from them and it had little pea type seedlings in them. We used those to stir into the mud pies! Hours and hours of laughter and fun!!!

    2. Oh, how I love this! Its too fun! And you are right, we had our plants and flowers when we lived in TX, but boy was our water bill expensive, in part to watering ALL of those! But, we just had to have them. :) To this day, we are still gardening together, but we've "balconized" it now! New word of the day!!! LOL!

    1. Wow, 100 where you are, oh my goodness! I tell ya I do not miss that TX heat! Miss many other things, but heat ain't one of 'em!
I LOVE the fresh strawberries as well! I have not gotten mine started yet, due to the rain! They would have drowned by now :-). BUT, by next weekend, I should be able to get them going! Excited about that!
I know what you mean by closer to your God with the flowers, the fruit, all these things!!!
That's one reason we LOVE LOVE walking or sitting on the beaches! There is a closness, calmness, and just an overwhelming awesome feeling of being right next to God and what he's created for ALL of us here while we are on earth!
